Each night we shed a silent tear,
As we speak to you in prayer.
To let you know we love you,
And just how much we care.
Take our million teardrops,
Wrap them up in love,
Then ask the wind to carry them,
To you in heaven above.

I was so sorry to read that Dr.Caskey had passed away. He was my doctor for many years. He had a great bedside manner and was always so willing to listen to you. He once told me how his mother was studied Home Economics and how she would make all these great pies, especially the lemon meringue. then he said he couldn't believe that we all ate like that! I alwasy remember the sign he had taped to his door that you coudn't help but read when you walked out. it was something to the fact that what you do today could impact your health, particularly increasing your chances of diabetes. He was so very right. Look at the shape the country is in today with diabetes on the rise. What a coincidence that he died at his alma mater, Jefferson.

I am so sad to hear of Dr. Caskey's passing. I was looking him up and found his obituary which has brought tears to my eyes. All these many years since I was his patient, I remember him as the best doctor in every way and I will forever be grateful to him for his superb care. He was my first endocrinologist and I learned so much from him about how to take care of my diabetes and also he gave me excellent career advice back when I was in high school. I will never forget him. I credit him for getting me through college alive (!) and unharmed - in the days before we had personal blood glucose meters!! He was a true doctor, the kind that cares about the patient as a person and is also their friend. He was important to my family as he treated not only me but also 2 brothers and father. I was blessed for having been in his care.
with my sincere sympathy,
Judy (DeLucia) Segers

Dr. Caskey played a pivital role in my family's health for well over 40 years. He was like a family friend to my dad, mom, aunt and myself. Even after not seeing Dr. Caskey for 20 years I can still recall his sound medical advice. He was a constant professional who kept up to date with new trends and concepts in medicine. Not only has your family lost a stellar individual, his patients and the medical field has lost one of the great ones. Our thoughts and prayers are with you during this very sad and difficult time.

Dr. Caskey was a wonderful man and a great Dr. I remember seeing him and his sons Brian and Kevin at Sears garden shop on Stockton St in Trenton and stopping to talk to me. I always had such respect for him. When my Mom dies suddenly in Sept. 2005, he took the time to personally send me a sympathy card. We had such great discussions after my appt. he will always be in my thoughts---such a great person!

Mary, Ed and I are still tottering along, and along with all the other hurts that age inflicts is a terrible one....to lose a friend.I still remember Ed shamelessly consulting your husband about a health problem at a dinner Luna offered us all at the Nassau Club and me enjoying your intelligent reaction to the situation. But then you always reacted with courage and brains to everything. Do you still have your mink coat? Take comfort in Dr. Caskey's great career and fine life. We extend deepest sympathy to you and your family and I send a special hug to you.

To the Caskey family: Dr. Caskey was a decent, caring, skilled man of immense character. It was always a pleasure to visit his office, without regard to the circumstance. (I always made sure I returned the WSJ to the waiting room!) For Mrs. Caskey: Though our conversations in Lawrenceville many years ago may have been brief, they were both memorable and enjoyable. Sincere condolences to your family in your time of sorrow.
