I will never forget all of our picnics at your house with Golf Oil Co. we had many great times. Your dad will pull us kids all on his tractor. He was always the laugh of the crowd with the adults and us kids. He was always laughing. I talked to him a few months ago when he had called me to express his condolences over my mom. My heart and thoughts are with you and Chris and your family. A laughter like your dad is surely a loss but what a blessing and fun person to all who knew him.
Bob could tell the same jokes over and over again and they would still make us laugh. We shared a lot of good times with him and Marg. We have been friends for over 60 years. When Bob was younger, I always said he reminded me of Danny Kaye, same easy going personality. I'll miss him.
My sincerest sympathy on Bob's passing. I knew and worked with Bob at the old Gulf Oil Corporation where I was District Office Supervisor and later a Senior Field Auditor. I no longer drive and I am having mobility problems so I won't be at Bob's viewing or funeral. Again, my sincerest sympathy.
