My deepest condolences Mary, Yvette, Yvonne, Tara, and Grandchildren and Great grandchildren, Martinette family and Waldo, May Gods loving presence bring you all comfort at this hard hour. Whenever I spoke to your Mom or visited with her she spoke of each of you with such love and thanks for the gifts you each are and the great love you share. Your dear Mom radiated love and thought of others first. Jill touched so many people in this life with her kindness and beautiful smile. My dear Mom Joan was one of the recipients of your Moms love. They were best friends and nick named themselves the "Pumpkin" and "Peach" ladies for the type of pies they liked best at Rice's flea market. Together they shared a lifetime of friendship and adventures with Waldo and my brother David. When your precious Mom was welcomed into heaven by Jesus I know my Mom and Dad greeted her along with your dear Dad! Love is the greatest force in heaven and earth and it is a legacy of LOVE your Mom leaves. This past summer I picked up Chinese food and visited your Mom who spoke of each of you and how much she loved you and was so proud of her family. The grandchildren and now great grandchildren filled her heart so fully and she was jubilant as she spoke of them. Your dear Mom touched my heart and my families and her light and love remains forever. My brother Dave is hospitalized now but sends his love, prayers and comfort to you all. You are in our hearts and prayers.
With Deepest Sympathy,
Joanne Lettieri and Dave Petrillo

If you were someone that knew Mrs. Martinette, you'd know there wasn't a more beaming ray of sunshine on this planet. Her face always wore a smile and her heart knew no bounds. I cherished my days spent with her in my childhood, where I grew as an adolescent able to create a moral compass that, to this day, keeps me grounded. I'm heartbroken that I can't see her smile or hear her singing her hymns, or telling her stories of her childhood. She will be missed.

Thank you, dear Martinettes for sharing your mom with Yvonne's nerdy little friend. Growing up, your house was so different than mine.. Lots of joking, adult conversations and adventures. In the middle of it all was Jill, Waldo and Nanny, laughing, telling stories, asking questions. I learned so many life lessons in that kitchen, I think I could've passed for 30 in middle school. lol. Thank you, Jill, for being a great second mom, for welcoming me into your family and for always greeting me like I belonged, no matter where I saw you. It's not an accident that all your daughters are great mothers, too.

Q: What will you miss most about Julianne?
A: I will miss everything about my Aunt Jill - her wit, her love, her funny way of getting everyone's name screwed up. She was such a loving soul, and I will cherish and hold on to every memory I have of her from my childhood up til now. She told me she was scared in her last days, but I know she's safe now in Heaven w my nanny and all of her loved ones gone before her. No more pain no more suffering - and I know Daisy is w her too. I love you always Auntie Jill - please watch over us and visit us in our dreams! Say hi to my dad for me and give him a big hug and kiss. Rest easy my beautiful Aunt. Until we all meet again in God's kingdom xoxo

Julianne often inspired me with her gift of faith. I would read her powerful words of scripture & prayer. The world needs more people like Juliane. May she rest eternally in the arms of the lord, Amen

I was very saddened to hear of Jill's illness and passing.
What a Special Person she was , always smiling and a real Joy to be around. Jill was warm hearted , generous person who Loved to laugh and Loved her family very much.
I met Jill back in the 1990s and the very first time I met her she invited me to have dinner with her and Charlie who also was a kind good hearted man. No matter what time of day you stopped by you were always welcome at their home. I use to help out Charlie and Jill with their lawn cutting and snow plowing when Charlie got older. Jill would always have a nice homemade pot of soup cooking and Charlie looked forward to have a friend over to watch a ball game or talk of old times.
They both shinned with and treated people with the Kindness and Love that God wants us all to live by. The family will miss Jill terribly and so will all of us that got to know her. I am sure though that Jill is in Heaven with her warm smile and happy to see Charlie and other family members again.
Bless you Jill , I feel I was blessed by getting to know you and Charlie. We will see each other again someday.
Love You , Jim Cook
