I'm sitting here tonight in Arizona,
and I'm thinking of Aunt Betty and how much I am going to miss her; and I'm reflecting on how fitting it is that Aunt Betty should happen to pass on Christmas Day.
Throughout the years, on Christmas Day, Aunt Betty would lovingly welcome family and friends into her and Uncle Butch's home. As a result of Aunt Betty and Uncle Butch's love, generosity, and hospitality, I have some of my fondest Christmas childhood memories.
And on Christmas Day, 2022, God would lovingly welcome Aunt Betty into His Home, just as she had welcomed others into her home all those years.
Merry Christmas, Aunt Betty. Thank you for so many beautiful holiday memories.

Butch and Brenda and John and Peggy, my heart aches for you and the rest of your family (our family), but my heart is also full with so many beautiful memories of my Aunt Betty.
Aunt Betty would always welcome me with her bright beautiful smile and her warm embrace, and she never failed to let me know just how much she loved me. Whether years had passed since I had last seen her made no difference to Aunt Betty; she would always let me know that she was proud to be my aunt and proud that I was her nephew. As a young child, I remember her calling out to my dad: "Steve," to get his attention. Even as a child, I could sense in the tone of her voice just how much she loved her older brother (my Dad!). That really made me feel special and important, too!
Aunt Betty was always so supportive of me and my dancing and always loved reminiscing with me about how much she loved to dance, too. I really think that Aunt Betty was so thrilled that she and I had a common love of dancing that made our relationship even more special.
Such wonderful memories growing up traveling (sometimes in snowstorms) to Aunt Betty and Uncle Butch's house for Christmas! I remember the excitement and the warmth with which Aunt Betty would greet us upon arrival.
Aunt Betty could bake like no other (especially at Christmas), but the special ingredient that made her baking so excellent was the love and care that she would put into it. Always giving and always sharing her love with others through baking. It is so sad for me to realize that with Aunt Betty's passing, I have no living aunts and uncles remaining on this earth. Nevertheless, I'll have to seek comfort in knowing that, although they are passed, I've been blessed and privileged to have had such loving aunts and uncles in my life. Rest in peace, sweet dear Aunt Betty, while you bake up a storm in Heaven! You are forever in my heart.

We are so heart broken with the passing of”Aunt” Betty. She was the kindest, most loving person that we had the privledge to be included in her family. Every major occasion and holiday was not perfect till Aunt Betty walked through the door. She was like a second mother and grandmother to our family and we will always remember with a smile in our hearts. Rest In Peace, Aunt Betty, we will always love you and will miss you always, your extra little family, Dave, BettyAnn, Megan,David, and Scott. You will always be in our hearts.

Dear John, Butch and family,
I will always cherish and hold dear in my heart the beautiful memories of your mom. She was always caring to everyone around her, always a hug to give. Always shared and expressed her love for her family. Full of happiness and always feeling blessed. Her wonderful baking skills always added to the excitement at gatherings all wondering if she made your favorite cookie and those heavenly cupcakes. One day she finally shared with me her secret recipe and tip to her cupcakes, which I always felt special and honored. I thought of her always when I grabbed that stick of butter, sugar, flour and started the mixer. A beautiful soul, who will be missed by so many lives she touched. Love and God bless to you and the family during this difficult time. love Jane
