I'm saddened by the news of Shirley's passing and send my condolences to the family. During my time in the choir at Bethany Shirley had difficulties keeping us under control during practice however we sounded good on Sunday's, in spite of the fact I couldn't get a b flat with one hymn. Shirley you will be missed with fond memories.
I will forever remember Shirley herding the choir together (which was not easy). From when my mother was in the choir to years I was there singing with Herman, Cherie, and Phil.
