Some people come into your life for a reason, a season or a lifetime. It's hard to be sad and happy at the same time but I know, without a shadow of a doubt, that my Great Aunt Edna is healed and at home with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. For that, I rejoice. I also know how much she loved her family and how proud she was of all of you.
I thank God that he brought us together for the past two years using weekly visits to share our books, laughter, chocolate treats and coffee. Oh yes, we whined about our lives at times and about wanting to die sometimes too, but somehow our visits always ended on a positive note with promises to pray for each other. I miss her spunk, her pretty blue eyes that lit up when she smiled and her stories that were embellished with drama - you were a hoot Great Aunt Edna! - Keep everyone in line up there, until we meet again....
My thoughts and prayers are with all of you.
Love,
Lori
