Obituary of David Armando Erkoboni
David Armando Erkoboni, 81, of Lawrenceville died peacefully at home on Saturday, June 1, 2019 surrounded by his family.
Born in Lawrenceville David was a life-long resident. He was a retiree of the Heinemann Electric Company where he served as a supervisor retiring in 1990 after 36 years of service. He then continued working at Team Toyota of Lawrenceville until 2018 when he finally retired to enjoy life with his family.
David also was a veteran having served in the N.J. National Guard with the 112th Field Artillery Regiment. In his pass time he enjoyed fishing and hunting with his brothers and nephews. In recent years, he also enjoyed gathering at Colonial Lake with his brothers and friends.
Son of the late Daniel and Maria Sinibaldi Erkoboni; brother of the late Daniel, Verino, Vito, Ralph, Gino and Quinto Erkoboni and Ida Kavchak; David is survived by his wife Genevieve “Cookie” Rugghia Erkoboni; his daughters Marie Barber and Denise Erkoboni; his grandchildren Matthew and Alexzander Barber; his two brothers Nello “Neil” Erkoboni and Richard Erkoboni and his wife MaryLou; his two sisters-in-law Rebecca and Grace Erkoboni as well as many nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated for David on Wednesday at 12 Noon at the Church of St. Ann, 1253 Lawrence Road, Lawrenceville, NJ. Burial will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Hamilton, NJ.
Visitation for family and friends will be on Wednesday from 9:30 to 11:30 at Poulson & Van Hise Funeral Directors, 650 Lawrence Road, Lawrenceville, NJ 08648.
