I looked up to Mark as Joanne's big brother and also as a fun, amazing guy with an endless capacity for enjoying life. He took Joanne and I to our first concert and encouraged our love of music - seagulls will always remind me of Mark and "Sunrise in Bay Head".
LaRaine, you had a beautiful relationship and took such good care of him. I am sorry for your loss.

Brother Mark I miss you. I miss you/Mark with LaRaine...I will miss your laugh, your silliness, your voice. Most of all i will miss your smile, your BIG heart, your compassion for everyone and everything..great and small.
There is only one MARK CHRISTOPHER CONTE...no one could be you better than YOU.
There was a sweetness and gentleness about you...a youthfulness and sense of wonderment you never lost.
Be at peace. Rest. Your life is in my heart forever.
With all my love and appreciation for your life and letting me be a part of that life...your sister Desiree always

Hi Mark, and Family:
I saw a note about your passing a couple of days ago, and my reaction was..."Who?? Mark Who??? I know him!".
It took me back, and honestly I had to think hard about the who, what, and when's.
It's been about 40 years since I've seen you, or talked to you. How time flies here on earth... but I remembered most of our friendship.
I wanted to say hi and to send my condolences to your very large family who now morn your transition to the next world.
I'm sorry that we drifted apart over the years, but I hope that I'll see you soon in heaven. The fact that I remember you so well now says a lot about friendship. I will always remember you as my friend and remember those crazy, good times that we had 40 years ago. For some reason, when I think about you, I get an image of you in my parents house over in Lawrenceville. Not sure what we were up to then... Up to no good, no doubt... :-)
Rest in Peace old Friend.
My sympathy to your Family and Friends on your profound loss.
See you soon Buddy...
Frank

So many of my childhood memories include you in them. From swimming at the farm, to listening to you play the panic, and all our holidays spent together. I am so glad Rohn was able to meet you and spend time with you. We love you so much!! I promise to take care of Aunt LaRaine just like you did!
