George’s family: I'm so sorry for your loss. I went through a similar situation and I was very helped by the hope that I found in the Bible in John 5: 28, which says, "Do not amazed at this, for the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out". I am sending you a link with more information on this hope.

George was a wonderful, kind, and caring person and I will always be glad that I got to grow up next door to him and Betty. I still remember seeing his smiling face in the hallways at school and was thrilled that he and Betty were able to attend our wedding. He was well loved and will be missed!

Our family will always remember George for his kind, gentle, and honorable character. No one could ask for a better neighbor than George and Betty. Michael will always remember how George and Betty would come over to 'borrow' our dog Shannon, to take her for a walk. I remember how easily George would lend a hand where and when it was needed, and I always knew he was keeping a loving eye on the kids when they were fortunate to be in the same school. Allie and James could always spot his special smile and wave, even in the crowd and rush between classes. And Halloween night always started with a visit to their house, first and foremost! He was a great man and will always be an important part of our lives.
