Martha saved my life and those of my children. I still live by and teach my children the lessons I learned from Martha. She saw the best in people, even when they were down. She saw and provoked the best in me. I would think of Martha from time to time, sometimes just calling aloud her entire name when she'd come to mind. Smiles. I wish I had called the times I'd think of her. Well, today I decided to make that call, and calling her cell number and office number, I found them to no longer to be in service. Thus, I came to Google to search her up, and see that her service for the Lord down here has ended over four years ago and she has entered into His rest, her well deserved eternal rest. I am grateful for Martha's life. I am one of the fruit from "Martha's Vineyard."
Rest Well, Woman of God.
Rest well,
Michael D.

Martha counseled my wife and I as newlyweds 13 years ago and we always appreciated her warmth and honest approach. And when we bought our first home she gave us some housewarming gifts that meant alot and she hand delivered them which was very sweet. When we thought of her tonight and searched for her, we were saddened to hear of her passing. We will always remember our times with her fondly.

The death of a loved one is the most devastating experience a family can face. At times, the pain of the loss will seem unbearable. Please know that there are friends who care about you and your family during this difficult time and more importantly Psalm 34:18 tells us that "God is near to those that are broken at heart. We pray that Jehovah the God of all comfort is with your family during this difficult time of grief. Our prayers are with you and your family.

Martha’s family: I'm so sorry for your loss. I went through a similar situation and I was very helped by the hope that I found in the Bible in John 5: 28, which says, "Do not amazed at this, for the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out". I am sending you a link with more information on this hope.
