What an amazingly sweet aunt I had with Aunt Jean. Traveling from Texas to see Aunt Jean and Nana, playing croquet in their backyard, and year after year of thoughtful cards for birthdays and Christmas, regardless of how our family grew and grew, are memories I will always have. We will always cherish her thoughtfulness. One of my favorite and special memories is getting to FaceTime with her on her 90th birthday and see her smiling face. I will miss you and always love you, Aunt Jean. You are so special.

I have so many sweet memories of my Aunt Jean. The trips up to New Jersey when my sister and I were kids were my favorites!. Being from Texas, the trips were long, but fun!. Aunt Jean was always so precious and always made our stay with her and our Nana so memorable. She never forgot a birthday, and I will miss those sweet cards and personal wishes she always sent every year. Such a precious person!.

What I will remember most about my dear Aunt Jean is how incredibly thoughtful she was. Every year she would send me a special birthday card and a Christmas card. She has done this for as long as I can remember, and I am 34 years old. After I got married and had kids, she would even remember them and send sweet cards to them, even though they never had the privilege of meeting her in person. I will miss receiving those every year.
May your precious soul rest in the loving arms of Jesus, Aunt Jean.

What a special person Marilyn was! I taught with her at Junior 2, now Paul Robeson School, in Trenton. She was an experienced first grade teacher and I was a newbie. Our principal chose Marilyn to be my mentor. I soon realized that I had the best model teacher possible. Marilyn was so full of skill, knowledge, and compassion. She shared that with me, in her humble way, and I learned so much from her.
We developed a friendship that continued even when I moved from Mercer to Somerset County and then later to Pennsylvania. We would meet for lunch a couple of times a year. In recent years our communication continued via telephone and greeting card notes. In all, our friendship spanned 50 years this month! I'll certainly miss that friendship but I'm so glad and privileged to have had it.
My sympathy goes to Marilyn's loving and supportive family who were always there for her.
