Obituary of Dolores A. Krainski

Dolores Ann (DiMemmo) Krainski, of Phoenix, Arizona, passed away on July 13, 2015 in Honolulu, Hawaii. She died unexpectedly from natural causes, with her husband, Gene Kernan, by her side.
Dolores was born in Trenton, New Jersey to Anna M. (Volpe) DiMemmo and Albert N. DiMemmo. She grew up in Lawrence Township, NJ and attended Trenton High School. She met and married John Krainski, Sr. and they had two sons together, John Krainski, Jr. and Matthew Krainski. Dolores was widowed in 1980 and later moved to Phoenix, Arizona.
She met and married “her cowboy”, Gene “Irish” Kernan, out West. Dolores and Gene travelled all over the globe on many adventures together, which included years of living in both Arizona and Hawaii. Dolores was enjoying her retirement at the time of her death, traveling with her husband and spending time with her family and grandchildren.
Dolores is survived by her husband, Gene Kernan; mother, Anna DiMemmo; sister, Lynn DiMemmo (Susan DeSaulnier); son, John Krainski (Angie Stacey); son Matthew (Melissa) Krainski; step-daughters, Amber Kernan, Adrienne Kernan (Anthony Valenti), and Syreta Stewart; and 11 grandchildren. She was preceded in death by spouse, John Krainski Sr.; father, Albert DiMemmo.
Dolores made her career as a decorated international Project Manager and presenter of project management methodology on three continents. Dolores’ legacy includes so many personal and professional accomplishments as a dearly beloved wife, mother, daughter, sister, friend, teacher and mentor.
Relatives and friends may call on Friday, August 14th from 6:00pm-8:00pm and Saturday August 15th from 8:00am-9:30am at Poulson and Van Hise Funeral Directors, 650 Lawrenceville Rd, Lawrenceville, NJ 08648
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, August 15th at 10:00am at St. James Roman Catholic Church, 11 E. Paul Avenue, Trenton, NJ 08638. Burial will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery in Hamilton.
