Gregory L. Agoglia, 60, of Hamilton, passed away surrounded by his loving family on Friday, June 5, 2015 after a heroic 10 year battle with cancer.
Born and raised in Brooklyn, he was a former resident of North Brunswick before moving to Hamilton. Greg retired from Verizon in 2010, where he was employed as a foreman for 30 years. Greg was a member and volunteer at the Ancient Order of Hibernian Msgr. Crean #1 and the Hamilton Elks Lodge #2262 and parishioner of St. Gregory the Great RCC. He was a loving and devoted husband, father, son, brother, uncle, nephew and friend. Greg will be sorely missed for his nurturing ways, his smile, his laugh, his friendship and his “NEVER GIVE UP ATTITUDE”. Greg was an avid Beatles fan, New York Yankees and New York Giants fan. Some of his treasured pastimes were watching and coaching Amanda and Stephen in the various sports they played while growing up. Greg’s love for music was unforgettable. He had such an array of music that he enjoyed putting together and could often be heard at any function you attended at his home.
Son of the late Fred T. Agoglia, brother of the late Fred J. Agoglia; Greg is survived by his loving and devoted wife Lorraine Agoglia; his adoring children Amanda and Stephen Agoglia; his mother Alvera “Dolly” Agoglia; his sister Susan Agoglia; his niece and nephew Stacy Spencer, Keith Knudsen, 2 great-nieces Emily and Olivia Spencer; 2 uncles Joseph and Carmen “Sonny” Agoglia; his brother-in-law and sister-in-law Greg and Leslie Larsen; several cousins and friends.
