Rodger W. Cryan, III. 77, of Hamilton, passed away on Tuesday, April 14, 2015 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital at Hamilton. Born in Trenton, NJ, he was a former resident of Ewing and Trenton, before moving to Hamilton in 2002. He was a Vietnam War Veteran, having proudly served his country with the US Navy. Rodger retired from the US Postal Service, where he was Post Master of the New Egypt Post Office for many years. He was a parishioner at St. Hedwig Roman Catholic Church. Some of his hobbies included traveling, golfing, stamp and coin collecting, playing black jack, black and white movies, baseball and sipping a stiff martini. Son of the late Rodger W. and Gertrude Cryan; brother of the late Maureen Morse, and Gertrude “Trudy” Moore who passed away 3 weeks ago; uncle of the late Thomas Morse; he is survived by his wife Inga; 2 nieces Ann Marie Korchma, Melanie Gaston (Todd); his nephew Jonathan Moore; 2 great-nieces Shannon Korchma and Emily Gaston; his step-son Robert Dzagoev; 2 brothers-in-law law and one sister-in-law Artur and Valera Dzagoev and Victoria Dzagoeva. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:15AM at St. Hedwig Church, 872 Brunswick Ave, Trenton, NJ 08638. Interment will follow at St. Hedwig Cemetery, Ewing. Visiting hours will be held on Friday, April 17, 2015 from 8:30-9:30AM at Poulson & Van Hise Funeral Directors, 650 Lawrence Road, Lawrenceville, NJ 08648. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to St. Hedwig Church, 872 Brunswick Ave, Trenton, NJ 08638.
