Louis P. Battaglia, 60, of Lawrenceville died suddenly on February 9, 2015. Born in Trenton, Lou was a resident of Lawrenceville for over 27 years. He was the owner of Capitol City Aluminum Products of Hamilton for more than 20 years. Son of the late Vincenzo and Margaret Osilka Battaglia, brother of the late James and Charles Battaglia and brother-in-law of the late John Stoy, Lou is survived by his loving wife, Carol Michalczyn Battaglia; his cherished children Brooke and Louis; his sister, Margaret; his brother, John and his wife Kim; his sisters-in-law, Barbara Stoy and Jane Mesday and her husband Harry, and several nieces, nephews and close cousins. Lou will be remembered for his loving spirit and devotion to his family and friends. He enjoyed the outdoors, life’s adventures, and playing a round of golf. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated for Lou on Saturday at 9 AM at the Church of St. Ann, 1253 Lawrence Road, Lawrenceville, NJ. Relatives and friends will be received by the family on Saturday from 8 AM until time of mass at the church. Interment will be private.
