Joan Ellen Price, 81, of Toms River, passed away on Thursday, December 25, 2014 at Hampton Ridge Nursing Home, Toms River, NJ. Born in Trenton, NJ, she was a longtime resident of Lawrenceville, before moving to Whiting. Joan was a private agent for the Department of Motor Vehicle. Joan was a former member of the Republican Club and was involved Lawrence Lions Club that her late husband was the Past President of. She was an avid Philadelphia Phillies and Eagles fan. Her greatest passion was quality time with her 5 beloved grandchildren. Daughter of the late, Jervis and Lillian Tittensor; wife of the late James W. Price; she is survived by 3 sons and 1 daughter-in-law James W. Price, Jr., Timothy and Mary Price and Todd Price; 5 grandchildren Allie, Emily, Anna, Scott and Eric Price; her brother and sister-in-law Edward and Joyce Clark; 3 nephews. Funeral services will be held on Monday, December 29, 2014 at 12 Noon at Poulson & Van Hise Funeral Directors, 650 Lawrence Road, Lawrenceville, NJ 08648. Interment will follow at Ewing Church Cemetery, Ewing. Calling hours for Joan will be held on Monday morning from 11AM until the time of the service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made in Joan’s memory to Alzheimer’s Association 12 Roszel Rd, Princeton, NJ 08540.
