William Neeff Obituary
William Neeff, a long-time resident of Ewing Township, passed away at home on Saturday, October 25, at age 87, following a long illness.
Born in Jamesburg, NJ, he is predeceased by his parents, Karl and Fransesca Neeff; two bothers, Frederick and Gustav Neeff; and two sisters, Bertha Ahlbach and Marion Van Cleaf. His wife of 61 years, Margaret Anne Sneath Neeff, passed away in May of this year. He is survived by his sister, Helen Neeff of Freehold; two daughters and a son-in-law, Anne S. N. Gale of Ewing and Margaret and Dr. Telechery Sudhakar of Princeton; two grandsons, Anand William Sudhakar of Washington, D.C., and Nikhil Sudhakar of Princeton; several nieces, nephews, grand nieces, and grand nephews as well as many friends.
Mr. Neeff was a graduate of Rider College, class of 1942, where he was a member of Kappa Phi. He was an Army veteran of World War II, having served in the signal corps of the 263rd Field Artillery Battalion of the 26th Infantry Division, the “Yankee” Division in WWII. He was awarded the Purple Heart.
He worked for many years as a Project Administrator at RCA Astro Electronics Space Center and retired in 1986. He was a member of the National Association of Accountants. Following his retirement, he enjoyed boating and playing golf.
Friends may call on Thursday, October 30, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon at Poulson and Van Hise Funeral Directors, 650 Lawrence Road, Lawrenceville . Funeral services will be private.
