Catherine Sielski (nee Zoladz), 93, of Lawrenceville, passed away peacefully on Monday, November 10, 2014 at her daughters home surrounded by her loving family. Born on March 7, 1921 to Aloysius and Anna Zoladz (nee Zabawa) in Trenton, NJ, she was a Longtime Lawrence resident. For the past 12 years she lived with her daughter. Catherine is a retiree of General Motors, where she was employed for many years, having retired in 1986. She was a member of the Sr. Club of Lawrence Twp. Catherine enjoyed playing Bingo and trips to Atlantic City. She was an accomplished seamstress making clothes for herself and her daughter. Wife of the late Joseph J. Sielski, Sr.; mother of the late Ronald Sielski, grandmother of the late Ashley Forker, sister of the late Lottie Klidza, John, Walter, Anthony and John Zoladz; she is survived by her daughter Cathy Forker (Ted Strycharz), her son and daughter-in-law John J. Jr. and Cyndi Sielski; her grandchildren Michael Forker, John Sielski (Kelley), Amy Pease (Michael); her great grandson Beckham Pease; her former son-in-law Mickey Forker; several nieces and nephews. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, November 15, 2014 at 11AM at The Church of St. Ann 1253 Lawrence Road, Lawrenceville, NJ 08648. Interment will follow at St. Hedwig Cemetery, Ewing Twp. Relatives and friends can call for Catherine on Saturday morning from 9-10:30AM at Poulson & Van Hise Funeral Directors, 650 Lawrence Road. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made in Catherine’s memory to The Church of St. Ann 1253 Lawrence Road, Lawrenceville, NJ 08648 or to Compassionate Care Hospice, 600 Highland Drive Suite 624, Westampton, NJ 08060. The family wishes to thank Catherine’s caretaker Krystyna for her endless compassion and care during the past 4 months, as well as Leonia and Asia her previous caretakers and the Compassionate Care Hospice.
