Obituary of Jane Davitt Davis

Jane Davitt Davis, 101, of Lawrenceville died peacefully on Friday at Compassionate Care Hospice @ St. Francis Medical Center surrounded by her loving family. Born in Titusville, PA she was a resident of Princeton before moving to Lawrenceville in 1954. Jane retired in 1977 from Electro-Mechanical Research, Inc. of Princeton Junction after 40 years of service. Daughter of the late Patrick and Margaret O’Neill Davitt and wife of the late Burton Davis, she is survived by her sister Margaret Bucceri. She was also the much beloved aunt to numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews and also great-great nieces and great-great nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated for Jane on Monday at 11 AM at the Church of St. Ann, 1253 Lawrence Road, Lawrenceville. Friends may call on Monday after 10 AM in the daily chapel at the Church of St. Ann. Burial will follow in the Lawrenceville Cemetery.
