Obituary of Robert J. Schwing

Robert J. Schwing, 80, of Lawrenceville, was called to the Lord surrounded by his loving family on Tuesday, April 1, 2014. Born in Princeton, Bob retired from Pennsylvania Carpenter Union Local 1462 and most recently worked at Finger’s Radiator. Son of the late Charles and Beatrice Schwing. Predeceased by his wife of 52 years, Edna A. Schwing. Survived by his children Robert, Jr. (Lauren), Theresa, Virginia and Patricia; grandchildren Kyle, R.J., Morgan, Harley and Ian. Brother of the late Doris, Matilda, Anthony and Charles; brothers-in-law Al, John, Jerry, Bob and John. Survived by sisters Loretta, Agnes, Teresa and Beatrice and in-laws Barbara, Allene, Ted, Thomas and Joyce, a great many nieces and nephews. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Friday, April 4, 2014 at 1PM at The Church of St. Ann, 1253 Lawrenceville Road, Lawrenceville, NJ 08648. The family will receive friends and neighbors from 12PM to 1PM in the Daily Chapel at The Church of St. Ann. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Robert’s memory to the Church of St. Ann, 1253 Lawrenceville Road, Lawrenceville, NJ 08648.
