Walter “Paul” Everett, 84, of Lawrenceville died peacefully at home Saturday with his family by his side. Born in Florence, NJ, Paul was a resident of Lawrenceville for the past 52 years. He retired in 1989 after 35 years with R.C.A. of Princeton where he was employed as a scientific glass blower. Paul was a member of the Church of St. Ann, the Knights of Columbus, Council #7000 and a former long time member of the St. Hedwig Church Bowling Team. One of his favorite pastimes, as a glass blowing artesian, was to create beautiful hand blown glass Christmas ornament keepsakes’ for his family and friends. Son of the late George and Marian Nixon Everett, Paul is survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Lorraine Bowers Everett; his two sons, Paul and Leonard Everett; his two daughters, Cynthia Muscente and her husband John and Michele Conard and her husband David; his grandchildren, Shawn and Cody Conard and Maryann Muscente; his brothers, George Everett and his wife Dorthea and Richard Everett and his wife Shirley; his sister Marion Bock and her husband Joseph and his sister-in-law, Adele Bowers. Paul is also survived by several nieces and nephews along with his grand dogs, especially Thumper. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday at 10 Am at the Church of St. Ann, 1253 Lawrence Road, Lawrenceville. Entombment will follow in St. Mary’s Mausoleum, Hamilton. Friends may call on Tuesday from 7 to 9 PM in the daily chapel at the church of St. Ann. Due to the Lenten season, the family would prefer Mass cards in lieu of flowers, or memorial contributions in Paul’s name to the Church of St. Ann, 1253 Lawrence Road, Lawrenceville, NJ 08648
