Obituary of Rose Busacca

Rose Busacca, 91, of Lawrenceville passed away Saturday at Capital Health Medical Center, Hopewell. Born in Hechingen, Germany Rose came to the U.S. when she was 6 years old via Ellis Island. She was raised in Newark, graduated from Central High School, and was a long time employee of Bells Drugstore in Rahway until her retirement. Rose also resided in Clark for many years and was a parishioner of St. Agnes Church prior to her move to Lawrenceville in 2008. Rose was predeceased by her parents, Adolf and Marie Bümiller Munz, her brother, Lothar Munz and her beloved husband of 48 years, George Busacca. She was a devoted mother to her daughter, Carol Tracy and her husband Joseph of Lawrenceville and her son, George Busacca and his wife Kathy of Point Pleasant, and an endlessly loving grandmother to Ryan, Lauren and Nicole Tracy, Matthew Busacca and his wife Natalie and Christine and Katelyn Busacca. Lastly she is survived by her great-grandson, Christopher Hopkins, who always made her smile. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated for Rose on Saturday at 10:30 AM at Our Lady of the Rosary Chapel at Morris Hall in Lawrenceville. Burial will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery in Clark, NJ. Friends may call on Saturday after 10 AM at the chapel. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Staff Appreciation Fund at Morris Hall, 1 Bishops’ Drive, Lawrenceville, NJ 08648
