Obituary of Marie Taylor

Marie D. Taylor, 83, of Yardville, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family on Saturday, February 22, 2014. Born in Trenton, she was a resident of Yardville for 34 years. Marie is a retiree of the Department of Corrections, where she was employed as a Bookkeeper. Marie was a loving and devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and friend. Some of her hobbies included patch quilting, cooking and traveling. Wife of the late George Taylor, mother of the late Albert “Bud” Raughly, sister of the late Pat, Mark Jr. and Gene Rossidivito; she is survived by her two daughters and one son-in-law Mary Jo and Sante Benedetti and Joanne Taylor; her son Scott Taylor; ten grandchildren Debi, Wendy, Kate, Mary Jo, Lisa, Matthew, Joe, Kevin, Scotty and Abby; seven great-grandchildren; two brothers Joe and Gabriel Rossidivito two sisters Ann Marie “Bunny” Parrish and Joanne Edwards; numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services for Marie will be held on Thursday at 10AM at Poulson & Van Hise Funeral Directors 650 Lawrence Road, Lawrenceville, NJ 08648. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at11AM at St. Vincent DePaul RCC 555 Yardville-Allentown Road, Yardville, NJ 08620. Relatives and friends can call for Marie Wednesday from 6-8PM at the funeral home. Interment will follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Hamilton.
