Obituary of Donna J. Holsneck

Donna J. Holsneck, 51, of Hamilton passed away peacefully on Sunday surrounded by family and friends. Born in Trenton she resided in Hamilton for the past 10 years. She attended Notre Dame High School and was a graduate of the College of New Jersey. Donna appreciated the arts and culture and was a talented artist herself. She had a wonderful sense of humor and enjoyed being the party planner for her friends and family. Despite her physical challenges, her love of travel took her to many places throughout the world and inspired much of her art work. Her positive outlook, thoughtfullness, and caring nature left an impression on every life she touched. With all Donna had to endure, no one could have lived her life more gracefully. On behalf of Donna, her family would like to offer a special thanks to all the health care professionals who cared for her, especially Dr. Alexander Carney. Granddaughter of the late Adam and Mary Gronostajski and Russell and Anna Holsneck, Donna is survived by the love of her life, Robert Forcina; her mother and father, Connie and Martin Holsneck; her brother, Martin Holsneck and his wife Mary Ellen; two sisters, Jill Boyd and her husband Thomas and Laurie Houff and her husband Michael; her nieces and nephews, Adam Holsneck, Brian Holsneck and his wife Luisa, Jessica Worthington and her husband Jeffrey, Eric Boyd and his wife Tiffany and Elissa, Megan and Alec Houff; 5 great-nieces and great-nephews; and her dear friends, Maryann Maleski and Anna Bittner. Funeral services for Donna will be held on Thursday beginning at 9 AM at Poulson & Van Hise Funeral Directors, 650 Lawrence Road, Lawrenceville. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 Am at St. Hedwig Catholic Church, Trenton. Private family burial and committal service will follow in St. Hedwig Cemetery, Hamilton. Friends may call on Wednesday from 6 to 8 PM at the funeral home.
