Harry C. Veale, 80, of Lawrenceville, passed away on Tuesday, January 7, 2013 at Merwick Rehab and Care Center, Plainsboro. Born in Bridgeton, NJ he was a resident of Lawrenceville for 44 years. Harry was a Veteran of the Korean War having proudly served his country with the US Army. He was a graduate of Bridgeton HS and graduated from the University of Delaware, where he earned his BA Degree in Accounting. Harry is a retiree from Applegarth Care Center, where he was employed as Chief Operating Officer. He was a parishioner at St. Paul’s Roman Catholic Church and a former parishioner at Immaculate Conception in his hometown of Bridgeton, NJ. Son of the late Albert and Clara Veale; brother of the late Bessie Ingersoll, Alma Miller, Leroy and Alfred Veale; he is survived by his wife Zatina Veale; his children Kirsten Bechtel, Kristina Veale, Eric Veale and Byron Veale; 5 grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews. A graveside service for Harry will be held on Friday, January 10 at 11:30AM at Fernwood Memorial Cemetery, Bridgeton, NJ. There will be no calling hours. A Memorial service will be held on Monday January 13, 2014 at 9:30AM at St. Paul’s Roman Catholic Church, 214 Nassau St., Princeton, NJ 08542. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made in Harry’s memory to Princeton Hospice 88 Princeton-Hightstown Road, Suite 202 Princeton Junction, NJ 08550.
