Obituary of Dale Lau

Dale Lau, 93, of Lawrenceville, passed away on Tuesday at home. Born in Dallastown, PA he is the son of the late Martin and Annie Lau. He was a longtime resident of Ewing before moving to Lawrenceville. Dale was a Veteran of WWII having proudly served his country with the US Army. He was a graduate of Rider University and continued his education earning his Master’s in Education from Columbia University. Dale enjoyed educating students in high schools and colleges. He was a retiree of the Stokley Van Camp Corporation. Some of his hobbies included music, traveling, dancing, crossword puzzles and playing tennis as a semi-pro in his youth. Dale was also a gifted piano player. He will be fondly remembered for brightening someone’s day and for his witty sense of humor. Twin brother of the late Richard Lau; he is survived by his loving wife of 66 years Geraldine Lau; three daughters Cheryl Blauvelt (Joe Brown), Lisa Lau (Glenn Rose) and Marsha Lau (Cindy Engler); two grandchildren and their spouses Lora Kaczor (Scott) and Jason Perkins (Meghan); four great-grandchildren Zach, Chaz, Jayce and Bryce; and many special friends. Funeral services for Dale will be held at 12 Noon on Friday, December 6, 2013 at Poulson Van Hise Funeral Directors 650 Lawrence Road, Lawrenceville, NJ 08648. Calling hours will be held from 10AM to 12Noon at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Ewing Church Cemetery.
