Frank C. Marchetti, 83, of Ewing, died Friday at the Compassionate Care Hospice in Trenton.
Born in Trenton, he had resided in Ewing for fifty-seven years.
Mr. Marchetti was a graduate of Trenton Central High School Class of 1942.
He was an Army veteran of World War II.
Mr. Marchetti retired in 1986 from the New Jersey Department of Transportation as a principal highway inspector after thirty-four years of service.
He was a member of the Church of the Incarnation, and a member and current trustee of the Monteleonese Society.
Son of the late Dominico and Marina Cicchetti Marchetti, and husband of the late Carmela Priori Marchetti, and brother of the late Americo, Quinto, Joseph, Santino and Anthony Marchetti and Julia Breccia, he is survived by a daughter Maryann Cefalone and her husband Ronald, a son Frank A. Marchetti and his wife Wendy Worringer, four grandchildren Ronald Cefalone and his wife Lorri, Melissa Haley and her husband Christopher, Chelsea Marchetti, and Krista Robbins, a great granddaughter Peyton Carmela Cefalone and several nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday at 10 AM in the Church of the Incarnation in Ewing Township. Entombment will be in St. Mary's Mausoleum in Hamilton. Family and friends may call on Tuesday from 8 to 9:30 AM at Poulson & Van Hise Funeral Directors, 650 Lawrence Road, Lawrenceville.
The family requests that in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Frank's memory be made to the Capital Health System/Renal Dialysis Unit, 750 Brunswick Avenue, Trenton, NJ 08638.
