Obituary of Phyllis Sabella

Filomena “Phyllis” Sabella, 74, of Lawrenceville, died at her home on Monday. Born in Brooklyn, NY she was a Princeton Junction resident most of her life before moving to Lawrenceville seven years ago. Daughter of the late Salvatore and Helena Sternotti Sabella, she is survived by her brother and sister-in-law, Ronnie and Mary Michelino, her sister Pauline Nigriello, and many nieces and nephews.She is also survived by her very special and beloved friend, Tricia Hotchkin and her family Wayne and Sabrina, and her cats Shazaam, Sammie, and Jake. Her funeral service will be celebrated on Thursday at 11:30 a.m. at Poulson & Van Hise Funeral Directors, 650 Lawrence Road, Lawrenceville. Burial will be in Holy Cross Burial Park, East Brunswick. Friends may call on Thursday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service.
