Mary E. Buck, 94, died on Friday at Bey Lea Village Care Center in Toms River. Born in Long Branch, she was a Hamilton resident most of her life. Mary was a member of the American Legion Post 93 in Trenton, the VFW Post 3525 in Hamilton, and the Silver Square Senior Citizens in Hamilton. Daughter of the late James H. and Phoebe Penn Tallman, wife of the late William H. Buck Sr., and mother of three late sons: William H. Buck Jr., Effinger J. Buck, and Robert Kenneth Buck, she is survived by her five daughters and four sons-in-law: Mary B. and Richard Ford, of Toms River, Nora Jane and Theodore Eldridge, of Bordentown, Suzanne and Dennis Starr, of Cream Ridge, Kathleen Steinruck, of Gainesville, FL, and Margaret and Joseph Robotin, of Bordentown, two daughters-in-law: Dolores Buck, and Diane Buck, seventeen grandchildren, twenty four great grandchildren, five great great grandchildren, her sister, Jennie Burrell, and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brothers: James H. Tallman III, and Frank and David Tallman, and her sisters: Anne Stout, and Alice Bachofen. Her funeral services will be celebrated on Tuesday at 10 a.m. at Poulson & Van Hise Funeral Directors, 650 Lawrence Road, Lawrenceville with Rev. Edward Conway, officiating. Burial will be Princeton Memorial Park, Robbinsville. Friends may call on Monday from 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home Memorial contributions in Mary’s name may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.
