Margaret “Peg” H. Barclay, 82, died on Wednesday July 24, 2013 at her home in Ephrata, PA. Born in Trenton, she was a resident of Lawrenceville, Fairless Hills, PA, and Hudson, FL before moving to Ephrata, PA. Peg was an active member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Denver, PA. Daughter of the late, Harry Martin Hogan and Margaret Kendall Hogan, she is survived by her husband, Edward P. Barclay Sr., her daughter, Margaret “Peggy” Wise and her husband David, her four sons: Edward P. Barclay Jr. and his wife Deborah, Rev. Douglas Barclay and his wife Melodie, Rev Alan Barclay and his wife Kimberly, and Richard Barclay and his wife Bonnie, her seventeen grandchildren, and her twenty great grandchildren. She is also survived by her sisters: Lorraine Berrien (Jack), Barbara Doncaster, and Luann Corlett (Duane), and her brother, Harry M. Hogan Jr. (Jeannie). She was also predeceased by her sister Elizabeth Compton. Peg and her husband were foster parents of forty two children in their lifetime. Her funeral service will be celebrated on Monday July 29, 2013 at 11 a.m. at Central Baptist Church, 2015 Pennington Road, Ewing. Burial will be in the Ewing Cemetery. Friends may call on Sunday from 7 to 9 p.m. at Poulson & Van Hise Funeral Directors, 650 Lawrence Road, Lawrenceville and again on Monday morning from 10 to 11a.m. at the Central Baptist Church, Ewing. Memorial contributions may be made in Peg’s name to Mt. Zion Baptist Church, 3 Denver Road , Denver PA 17517
