Obituary of Robert A. Calderone

Robert A. Calderone, 61, of Lawrenceville, passed away on Friday, June 28, 2013 at Capital Health Regional Medical Center, Trenton. Born in Trenton, Robert was a lifelong resident of Lawrenceville. Robert was a member of the NJ Army National Guard. He retired from the Lawrence Twp. Public Works Department, where he was employed as a Supervisor. Robert was a lifetime member with Lawrence Little League having umpired and coached numerous baseball and softball teams. He was a nominee of the Lawrence H.S Hall of Honor and was presented the White Hat Award through the Lawrence Baseball Association. His hobbies included spending time with his grandchildren Liliana and Matteo, fishing, gardening and watching the Yankees. Son of the late Rocco and Margaret (nee Tassone) Calderone; he is survived by his wife Marjorie; his son and daughter-in-law Christopher and Kryssa Calderone; his daughter Allison Calderone; 2 grandchildren Liliana and Matteo Calderone; his brother and sister-in-law Matthew and Linda Calderone; his mother-in-law Edythe Hefty; 1 brother-in-law and 2 sisters-in-law David and Laura Hefty, Louisa Hefty; 2 aunts Jean Calderone and Anna Amitrano; 2 nieces Leslie Calderone and Elizabeth Hinman, 1 nephew Jonathan Hefty and numerous cousins. Relatives and friends can call on Wednesday, July 3, 2013 from 4-6PM at Poulson & Van Hise Funeral Directors 650 Lawrence Road, Lawrenceville, NJ 08648. A funeral service will be held at 6PM.
