Obituary of Regina Kaytus Snedeker

Regina (Kaytus) Snedeker, 52, passed away on May 17, 2013 at home, with her loving family at her side, after a long and courageous battle with cancer. Born in Trenton, she was a lifelong resident of Lawrence Township. She graduated from Lawrence High School, class of 1979, and attended Mercer County Community College. Regina spent the past 27 years as a dedicated and loyal employee of Lenox Corporation, where she leaves behind many dear friends. Regina was predeceased by her parents, Joseph A. and Mary (Bolino) Kaytus, and her brother Joseph T. Kaytus. Regina is survived by her loving husband of 33 years, David S. Snedeker, her precious daughters who brought more joy and pride to her life than anyone could imagine, Jessica Lynn Snedeker of Philadelphia, PA and Alexis Marie Snedeker of Lawrenceville, NJ, her loving sister and brother-in-law, Diane and Michael Driscoll of Hamilton Square, NJ and her very special brother Gregory Kaytus and his fiancée Lynne Brown of Mercerville, NJ, her dear mother-in-law, Alvena D. Snedeker of Lake Harmony, PA, her loving surrogate mother, Angie Doswald of Bridgewater, NJ , her brother-in-law Clifford W. Snedeker and wife Arlene, nieces Adrien Dickerson and Mary Snedeker of Alexandria, VA and her niece & goddaughter Nicole Kaytus of Dayton, NJ, and of course her devoted cat Dusty. Regina was a member of Saint Ann’s Parish in Lawrenceville, NJ. She spent many years involved in the Delaware Raritan Girl Scouts, where she led an incredible group of young ladies. Regina loved to travel, especially to Disney World, Aruba, Wildwood, and Juno Beach. She enjoyed Broadway shows in NYC, and her family vacations at the beach and in the Pocono mountains. And she was an avid scrapbooker, so that all these wonderful memories of trips and special occasions are left behind for all to enjoy. Funeral services for Regina will begin on Wednesday at 10 AM at Poulson & Van Hise Funeral Directors, 650 Lawrence Road, Lawrenceville, NJ 08648. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 AM at the Church of St. Ann, 1253 Lawrence Road, Lawrenceville. Burial will follow in the Ewing Church Cemetery, Ewing Relatives and friends may call on Tuesday from 6 to 9 PM at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers contributions can be made in Regina’s memory to Get Your Rear in Gear Philadelphia, (Colon Cancer Coalition), 200 Cemetery Road, Mt.
