Raymond C. Kaminski, 94, passed away on Thursday at Compassionate Care Hospice, Trenton.
Born in Johnstown, PA, Raymond was a former resident of Trenton before moving to Lawrenceville. He was a Staff Sergeant with the US Army and served a tour of duty in both the Atlantic and Pacific Theatres. Raymond retired in 1969 as a Supervisor with Columbia Carbon in Trenton. He was a Parishioner at the Church of St. Ann and a member of the North Trenton American Legion Post #458, the Lawrenceville VFW Post #3022 and the Lawrence Seniors Club. Raymond was a self-taught Oil Painter, avid gardener and Phillies fan. He enjoyed traveling to Atlantic City, Las Vegas and spending time with his family.
Son of the late Zygmunt and Stella Kaminski; brother of the late Agnes, Frank, Henry and Stanley, husband of the late Helen Kaminski; he is survived by his son and daughter-in-law Raymond R. and Elaine Kaminski; his daughter and son-in-law Diane and John Bielamowicz; his grandchildren Douglas Kaminski (Tracey), Anthony Kaminski, Lisa Kaminski and Dr. Carissa Bielamowicz, his great-grandchildren Vanessa and Elizabeth.
Funeral services for Raymond will begin at 10:30AM on Wednesday at Poulson & Van Hise Funeral Directors, 650 Lawrence Road, Lawrenceville. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:30AM at the Church of St. Ann 1253 Lawrenceville Road, Lawrenceville, NJ 08648.Interment will follow at Brigadier General Wm C Doyle Veterans Cemetery, N. Hanover, NJ.
Relatives and friends can call on Tuesday from 6-8PM at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made in Raymond’s memory to Compassionate Care Hospice Independence Way Newark, Delaware 19173 or to the Parkinson’s Foundation 1359 Broadway, Suite 1509, New York, NY 10018.
Raymond’s family would like to sincerely thank the nurses and staff of Compassionate Care Hospice for their loving support.
