Dorree G Barbuto Obituary

Dorree G. Barbuto, 74, of Bordentown fell asleep peacefully in Christ on January 14, 2008 with her loving husband John and her adoring daughter Pam by her side, after a long courageous battle with cancer.


She had many passions in life, but her greatest was her children and grandchildren. As a young girl she was an accomplished pianist. She loved Liberace, and as an adult fulfilled her dream of seeing him backstage. She loved to plan birthday parties, vacations and holidays for her family. Her favorite places to vacation where the Jersey shore and Disney World. One of her favorite hobbies was collecting nick-naks for her children and grandchildren.


She was predeceased by her parents William and Ruth Jennings, her sister Faith Jennings, and her daughter Angela Barbuto. She is survived by her loving husband John A. Barbuto, Sr.; her sister, Michelle and her husband Steven Morill of Texas; her children, William and Bonnie Matlack of Conn; James and Doris Matlack of Ewing Twp., Renee Barbuto of Bordentown, Pamela and Howard Frank of Burlington and John Barbuto Jr. of Bordentown, a special niece Faith, and her husband C. J. Dellari of Florida; her grandchildren, Billee, Liza and Daniel Eldridge of Ewing, Jami Matlack of Ewing, John Matlack of Illinois, Andrea and Antonia Matlack of Ewing, Aaron and Andrew Frank of Burlington, Wendy Martin, Kip, Keith and Kerry Schultz, and many great grandchildren and nieces and nephews.


Dorree's funeral service will be held on Friday at 10 Am at Poulson & Van Hise Funeral Directors, 650 Lawrence Road, Lawrenceville with the Rev. John Guarini officiating. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery, Hamilton.


Friends may call on Thursday from 7 to 9 PM at the funeral home.
