Obituary of Michael J Popovich

Michael J. Popovich, 43 of Clinton, died on Saturday at the Hunterdon Medical Center in Flemington. Born in Trenton, he was a resident of the Hunterdon Developmental Center in Clinton for most of his adult life. Michael loved music and especially liked to listen to The Drifters. He enjoyed being walked around the scenic grounds of the center. He had many friends and devoted caregivers who loved him and enjoyed spending time with him. Michael is survived by his parents, Franklin E. and Salma Persichilli Popovich, and his aunts, uncles and several cousins. He was predeceased by his brother, Franklin “Frankie” E. Popovich Jr. Michael’s funeral will be private and there will be no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hunterdon Developmental Center, Cottage 6 Welfare Fund, Po Box 4003, 40 Pittstown Road, Clinton, NJ 08809-4003.
