Mary J. Carter, 87, died on Thursday at her home in Lawrenceville. Born in Princeton, she resided in Lawrenceville most of her life. Mary loved cooking and baking pies that many family and friends enjoyed. Daughter of the late Angelo and Antonetta Masucas Dinardo, she is survived by her husband, Edmond H. Carter, her two sons: Wayne R. Carter, and Edmond H. Carter Jr. and his wife Katherine, her daughter and son-in-law: Sharon L. and Joseph Strasser, her grandchildren: Christopher Carter and his wife Jennifer, Michael Carter and his wife Jessica, Elizabeth Jones and her husband Jeffrey, and Ryan and Kayla Strasser, her great granddaughter, Kylie Carter, and many nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday at 11:30 a.m. at The Church of St. Ann, 1253 Lawrence Road, Lawrenceville. Burial will be in the Washington Crossing National Cemetery, Newtown, PA. Friends may call on Wednesday morning from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. in the church. Due to the cemetery regulation limiting floral pieces, the family requests that you consider making memorial contributions in Mary’s name to Wounded Warrior Project, 1120 G Street NW, Suite 700, Washington, DC 20005
