Obituary of Teresa Olivieri

Teresa Olivieri, 96, of Lawrenceville, quietly passed away on Saturday at Capital Health Regional Medical Center in Trenton. Born in Trenton and a former Hamilton Township resident, she had lived in Lawrenceville for the past eight years. Teresa lived a simple life and she loved her family very much. In her younger years, she enjoyed cooking, singing, going to yard sales, and decorating her new house in the suburbs. Daugher of the late Marsilio and Nunziata Spitelli Compagnucci, and wife of the late John H. Olivieri, she is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Nancy Olivieri and Donald Massara, her grandchildren: Eric and Nicole Massara, her sister-in -law, Jean Compagnucci, her nephews and nieces: Patrick Compagnucci, Chuck Urishko, Barbara Staub, Ellen Ettinger, and their families, and her friend and “roomy” of the last eight months, Helen Massara. She was predeceased by her two brothers: Pasquale and Nello Compagnucci, and her sister, Josephine C. Urishko. Her funeral service will be held on Friday at 11 a.m. from Poulson & Van Hise Funeral Directors, 650 Lawrence Road, Lawrenceville. Burial will be in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Hamilton.
