Jennie (Jane) Buss Potts died Tuesday, November 27 at her home in Titusville, New Jersey. She was 91. Born in Sussex, New Jersey, Jane was the beloved wife of the late Major Richard H. Potts and daughter of the late Floyd J. and Edith S. Buss. She was the mother of the late Charles J. Potts and the sister of the late Amelia Dalling and Dora Caputo. Jane had been a resident of Ewing Township from 1965 until 2007 and taught in Ewing Twp. Public Schools for over 20 years. She was a faithful and active member of Trinity United Methodist Church in Ewing where she led the church bazaar, sang in the choir and led the organ committee. She enjoyed cooking and baking and was a champion bowler. Jane is survived by her daughter, Barbara P. Hallett, of Titusville, her daughter-in-law Joanne Potts of Willow, Alaska, her son Rev. Dr. Lawrence H. (Carol) Potts, of Pitman, her son Andrew W. (Ann Marie) Potts, of Hamilton. She is also survived by her grandchildren Lt. Col. Robert (Lee) Hallett, Darielle (Frank) Pasquito, Maj. Richard Hallett, Heather (Tim) Metrik, Elizabeth (Jim) Merlucci, Dr. Elizabeth (Glenn) Klucka, Daniel Potts, Matthew Potts, Andrew Potts, Anthony Potts, and Alan Potts and eleven great-grandchildren. She was also predeceased by her son-in-law, Robert Hallett. Relatives and friends are invited to her memorial service on Saturday, December 1 at Trinity United Methodist Church, 1985 Pennington Road, Ewing, New Jersey 08618 at 11:00 am. Visitation will be at the church from 9:00 am to 11:00 am. Interment will take place at Ewing Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory may be made to Trinity United Methodist Church, 1985 Pennington Road, Ewing, New Jersey 08618.
