Edward B. Tomsho, 87, of Little Egg Harbor, died on Wednesday November 7, at RWJ University Medical Center in Hamilton. Born in Humboldt, PA and a former Lawrenceville resident, he had resided in Little Egg Harbor for the past twenty-six years. He was a World War II veteran who served in the Navy. Ed graduated from Hazleton High School and attended Rider College. Ed was a warehouse supervisor with Royal Liquors and a deliveryman for Seiler’s Meats formerly in the Chambersburg section of Trenton. A lifelong woodworking and cabinetry enthusiast, Ed pursued these interests after retirement, working for Handmade Furniture in Tuckerton, and for Viking Yachts in New Gretna. He was a member of the American Legion Post No. 493 in Tuckerton. Son of the late John and Elizabeth Petro Tomsho, and brother of the late Michael and Andrew Tomsho, he is survived by his partner Virginia P. Butch, his daughter, Jill Mooney and her husband Joseph, his son William Tomsho and his wife Jane, his grandchildren: Sarah, Karen, and Daniel Mooney and Lindsey, Cassandra, and Corinne Tomsho, as well as his extended family, Sue Butch, Joseph Butch and his wife Chris, James Butch and his wife Kathleen, Deborah Carabelli and her husband Rick Funeral and services and burial will be private. There will be no calling hours. Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, 400 Morris Ave., Suite 251, Denville, NJ 07834.
