Earl W. Nevins, died Saturday, October 13, 2012 at Lawrenceville Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Lawrenceville, a few days after celebrating his 97th birthday. Born in Trenton, he lived in the area most of his life. Earl was a machinist with DeLaval Steam Turbines in Hamilton for many years. Son of the late James and Wilhemina (Schultz) Nevins, and brother of the late Dorothy Asay and Ruth Raywood, he is survived by his sisters, Opal Adams and Joan Costigan, as well as several nieces and nephews. Private services for the family will be held from Poulson & Van Hise Funeral Directors, 650 Lawrence Rd., Lawrenceville NJ. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery in Hamilton Twp. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Earl’s name may be made to The American Cancer Society, 2600 US Highway 1, North Brunswick, NJ 08902
