Obituary of Jessie M. Smith

Jessie M. Smith, 92, of Accokeek, MD passed away peacefully at home on Thursday surrounded by her family. Born in Kingston, PA she resided there for many years raising her family. Upon her husband's retirement they moved to the warmer climate of Florida and resided there for many years until the passing of her husband. Jessie then relocated to Maryland to be closer to her family. Daughter of the late Moses and Martha Miller LaBar and wife of the late John L. Smith, Jr., she is survived by her daughter, Debbie Unger and her husband Barry; her son, Jack Smith and his wife Terri of Holland, PA and her 8 grandchildren, Lindsay and Michael Donovan, Erin and Jessica Smith, Carla Samoyan, Greg Kummer, and Daniel and Sarah Unger. Private family graveside services will be held in the Oak Lawn Cemetery in Wilkes Barre, PA.
