Obituary of Anna D. Fritz

Anna D. Fritz, 84, of East Windsor, died Tuesday at the University Medical Center at Princeton. Born in Manhattan, NY Anna was a resident of Lawrenceville for over 40 years prior to moving to Meadow Lakes in East Windsor. She was a retiree of the Lawrence Township Board of Education where she was employed in the accounting department. She also worked at Notre Dame High School and volunteered for the Church of St. Ann at the Rectory. Anna was a member of the Church of St. Ann, the Altar Rosary Society at the church and was a past president of the St. Ann’s School PTA. Daughter of the late Bernard and Beatrice Frayne Donohue, mother of the late Martin Fritz and sister of the late Patrick B. and John T. Donohue, she is survived by her husband of fifty years, Charles J. Fritz; her children, Christina Sellers and her husband Jack, Carleen Knauf and her husband Duane and Gerard Fritz and his wife Valerie; her brother, Matthew Donohue; her sister, Winnifred McDowell; 10 grandchildren and her many caregivers at Meadow Lakes. Anna’s funeral will be held on Tuesday beginning at 10 AM at Poulson & Van Hise Funeral Directors, 650 Lawrence Rd., Lawrenceville. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 AM at the Church of St. Ann. Burial will follow in the Lawrenceville Cemetery. Friends may call on Monday from 5 to 8 PM at the funeral home. Altar Rosary Society will hold services at 6 PM.
