Obituary of Rose Marie Rosati

Please share a memory of Rose to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Rose Marie Rosati died peacefully Saturday evening at St. Joseph’s Skilled Nursing Unit at Morris Hall with her loving family at her side. Born in Trenton, she was a lifelong city resident, and a much-loved member of the St. Joseph’s community, where she resided for the last three years. Rose Marie was a devoted wife, mother, aunt, grandmother and homemaker. In the 1940s she assembled airplane rudders for General Motors and later was an assembler with Heinemann Electric for ten years; she was quite proud of both positions. She enjoyed cooking, reading, sewing, and caring for her loved ones. But most of all, she loved her family, and bequeathed them with a lifetime of beautiful memories. Rose Marie, one of eight siblings, loved conversation and had a unique way with words. She celebrated life’s moments and always honored family birthdays and occasions with a carefully chosen card and an eloquently composed note. Daughter of the late Fulgenzio and Rosina Gabriele Puliti, and wife of the late Anthony A. Rosati, she is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Anthony J. and Virginia M. Rosati; her three daughters and sons-in-law, Frances and Edward Kurocka, Barbara and Donald Becker, and Rose Anne and Daniel Gladney; her grandchildren, Juliana B. and Mariel C. Rosati, Colleen Marie Conaway and her husband Andrew, Christopher J. Becker and his wife Jodi, Timothy A. Becker and his wife Lindsay, Jeannine Anne Becker, Jennifer Marie Gladney, and Daniel H. Gladney and his wife Krista; and her three great grand children, Trent J., Sydney Marie, and Emma Grace Becker. She is also survived by her brother, James Puliti and his wife Yvonne; her sister-in-law, Mary Lezzano, and many special nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brothers, Daniel and Jack Puliti, and her sisters Edith Pulone, Lillian Raymond, Madeline Puliti, and Caroline Rosati. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday at 1 PM at the Our Lady of the Rosary Chapel at Morris Hall, 1 Bishops Drive, Lawrenceville. Burial will be private. Friends may call on Friday from 11 AM to 1 PM at the chapel. Memorial contributions in Rose Marie’s name may be made to the Staff Appreciation Fund at Morris Hall, 1 Bishops Drive, Lawrenceville, NJ 08648.
