Obituary of Ruth Esther Haupt

Ruth Esther Haupt, 89, of Lawrenceville, died at her home on Thursday. Born in Syracuse, NY, she was a Lawrenceville resident since 1971. Mrs. Haupt had been an LPN at the Merwick Unit in Princeton before retiring in 1974. She had also volunteered at Lawrence Rehabilitation for 20 years. Daughter of the late John and Jessie Garner Menikheim, wife of the late Walter Arthur Haupt, and sister of the late Robert Menikhiem, she is survived by her two daughters; Anne Bernhardt, and Joanne Haupt, her son and daughter-in-law, Walter John and Margaret Haupt, her six grand children, eight great grandchildren, and two great great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her son-in-law, William Bernhardt. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday at 10 AM at The Church of St. Ann, 1253 Lawrenceville Road, Lawrenceville with Mgsr. Vincent Gartland, officiating. Burial will be private. There will be no calling hours.
