Balint Kramlik Obituary

Balint Kramlik, 79, died Saturday afternoon at Saint Rose Medical Center in Henderson, Nevada, with his dear wife by his side.


Born in Herend, Hungary, Mr. Kramlik came to the United States in 1967 and first lived in Union, New Jersey. He then moved to Yardville, where he lived for 35 years, before relocating to Las Vegas in 2001.


Mr. Kramlik was educated in Herend, Hungary where he was a prominent artist, sculptor and painter. He was highly respected as a lead artist at in the prestigious porcelain factories of Herend in Hungary and Royal Augarten in Austria. In the United States Mr. Kramlik worked with Edwin Marshall Boehm Studio before founding Kramlik Porcelain Studio in 1973. Mr. Kramlik's porcelain is known worldwide. His works are displayed in Washington, DC at the White House, in Rome, Italy at the Vatican Museum, in Hollywood, California at MGM Studios, and at the New Jersey State Museum. Mr. Kramlik painted for sixty-five years.


Son of the late Joseph and Terez Kramlik, Mr. Kramlik was the youngest of six brothers who are all deceased. Mr. Kramlik is survived by his wife of 56 years, Ilona Kramlik, his only sister, Maria, of Slovakia, three daughters, Klara Kramlik Giovacchini and her husband Louis G. Giovacchini, of Yardley, PA, Erika Sanbrotti and her husband Daniel F. Sanbrotti of Henderson, NV, Suzanne O'Hara and her husband Joseph O'Hara, of Hamilton, NJ and a son, Balint I. Kramlik, of Las Vegas, NV. Also surviving are four grandchildren, Alesha Tulband, Rachel Justice, Jill-Ann Sanbrotti and Michael Szmauz, one great-grandson, Corey Tulband, Jr., and several cousins, nieces and nephews. Mr. Kramlik also leaves the family dog, Honey Sanbrotti.


A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 12 Noon on Saturday, December 8, 2007 at the Church of Saint Ann, Lawrenceville, New Jersey. Family and Friends may call in the Church Chapel from 11:00 am until Mass begins.


Entombment will be in Our Lady of Lourdes Madonna Mausoleum in Hamilton Township.


Arrangements are under the direction of Poulson and Van Hise Funeral Directors, Lawrenceville.
