Obituary of Aloysius W. Licht

Aloysius W. Lich, 81, of Columbus died on Wednesday at Samaritan Hospice in Mt. Holly. Born in Newark, and a former resident of Ewing Township for thirty-five years, he resided in Columbus for the last eleven years. Mr. Licht was a Korean War veteran having served in the Navy. He attended Art’s High School in Newark and earned his bachelors in elementary education at Fairleigh Dickinson University. Mr. Licht taught for twenty five years at Princeton Regional Middle School where he was chairman of the English department. Son of the late Jacob and Kathryn Flynn Licht, and father of the late Bradford Licht, he is survived by his wife of 53 years, Valerie Gill Licht, his son and daughter-in-law; Gregory Von Licht and Lisa Von Licht, his granddaughters; Emma and Lilly Von Licht, two nephews, and his best buddy “CJ.” He was predeceased by his in-laws; Arthur and Bernice Gill and his sister Loretta Mulvihill. In accordance with Al’s wishes, his funeral services will be private and there will be no calling hours. Memorial contributions may be made in Al’s name to the Bordentown City Cats, 11 E. Church St., Bordentown, NJ 08505
