Obituary of Josephine Zepka

Josephine (Nazad) Zepka, 96, passed away on Monday, July 18, 2011 at St. Joseph’s Skilled Nursing at Morris Hall, Lawrenceville. Born June 2, 1915, she was a lifelong resident of Windber, PA until she moved to New Jersey in 2005 to be near her daughter. Preceded in death by her husband, Steve; parents, Peter Nazad and Anna Krivak; brother Nicholas Nazad, sisters Anne Fetchko and Mary Dolan, and infant brother Joseph, she is survived by son, Eugene Zepka and wife, Hilda of Summerfield, FL; daughter Josephine, and husband Lamar K. Wood of Midlothian, VA; son Frank and wife April of Jacksonville, FL; and daughter Stephanie of Princeton, NJ. Josie first resided at St. Mary’s Assisted Living and later moved to St. Joseph’s Skilled Nursing facility where she made many friends among the residents and staff. Friends may call on Thursday from 4 PM to 7 PM at Our Lady of the Rosary Chapel at Morris Hall, 1 Bishops Drive, Lawrenceville.
