Joseph M. Martillotti, 81, of Lawrenceville died Friday in Capital Health System at Fuld, Trenton. Born in Lago Calabria, Italy he immigrated to Throop, Pa; and for the past 60 years has been a resident of Lawrenceville. He was an Army veteran of World War II having served with the 63rd Infantry Division. He was formerly employed as a maintenance mechanic with the Acme Hamilton Manufacturing Corporation of Trenton and later retired from the North American Reiss Corporation in Hillsborough. Joseph was a member of the Church of St. Ann, Lawrence Council #7000 Knights of Columbus, the Lawrence Italian Civic Association and the 63rd Infantry Division Association. Son of the late Bruno and Emilia Politano Martillotti, he is survived by his wife of 56 years, Jennie Bossio Martillotti; his 3 sons, Bruno J. Martillotti and his wife Cynthia, Joseph G. Martillotti and his wife Lucy and Anthony G. Martillotti and his wife Kara; six grandchildren, Jared, Alyssa, Joseph, Justin, Cole and Ashley Martillotti; a brother, Jacob Martillotti and his wife Marie, a special friend, Aggie Drzymala and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday at 10 AM at the Church of St. Ann, 1253 Lawrence Road, Lawrenceville. Entombment will be in St. Mary's Cemetery Mausoleum. Friends may call on Sunday from 6 to 9 PM at the church. Memorial contributions may be made to the Church of St. Ann, 1253 Lawrence Rd. Arrangements are under the direction of Poulson & Van Hise Funeral Directors, 650 Lawrence Road, Lawrenceville.
