William J. Driver, 48, of Trenton, died Sunday in Upper Makefield, PA. Born in Trenton, he had been an area resident all of his life. He was a Ewing High School graduate class of 1982 and received his B.A. in Psychology from Trenton State College in 1987. Bill was a former accounts payable clerk with the New Jersey Department of Corrections. He was an Army veteran and discharged with the rank of Captain. Bill was a member and former Exalted Ruler of the Trenton Elks Lodge #105 B.P.O.E., the Ewing American Legion Post #314, the 112th Field Artillery Association, and the Cyrus Lodge of Pennington. He is survived by his wife Debra Harrison, his parents William J. Driver Jr. and Carol Loabe Driver, and a brother Thomas J. Driver and his wife Diane, and his mother-in-law Elizabeth Harrison. Also surviving are his nieces Emily, Victoria and Charlotte, a special cousin Kenneth W. Callihan, a special friend Tamara Montgomery, and multiple cousins and extended family members. His funeral will be held on Saturday at 11 AM at Poulson & Van Hise Funeral Directors, 650 Lawrence Road, Lawrenceville with Reverend Jeffrey A. Vamos pastor of The Lawrenceville Presbyterian Church officiating. Burial will be private in the Ewing Church Cemetery. Family and friends may call on Friday from 6 to 9 PM at the funeral home. Trenton Elks Lodge #105 B.P.O.E. will conduct services at 8 PM. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you make a memorial contribution in Bill’s memory to the Elks National Foundation, 2750 N. Lakeview Avenue, Chicago, IL. 60614-2256.
