I am writing this for my father, Larry Eldridge. He lives in an Independent Living home in Tucson, AZ. He
has Alzheimer's. He does have long-term memory and he
was very fond of George. He was shocked and very sad to learn of the recent passing of his friend. He is still able to remember many happy memories of George. They were both members of Crescent Temple. Neighbors in Lawrence Twp. in Nassau I, attended Lawrence Road Presbyterian Church and were both in the insurance business. Our entire family would like to extend our sympathy to the Johnson family. George was a wonderful person and he will be greatly missed. May God be with you during this difficult time.

I'd like to extend our sympathies to the family. George was an erstwhile friend in helping Pastor Luc Deratus of Haiti in improving the vision of many, many Haitians. His enthusiasm for the Lions program was incredible, even in the face of his health problems. Best regards, Nick Semenuk.

Lions George it was my honor to have known you over these many years. The work you did for Lionsism will not be forgotten. I will miss you,
but I know you are doing the work of Lionism in a mush better place.
